I have finally got around to sorting something out for a reunion in 2007, 45 years after graduation.

On Thursday 17th MAY 2007 we shall meet at the Battle of Britain memorial flight at RAF Coningsby at 1300hrs. We will then be split into

groups of 20-25 for a tour around the hanger. I cannot guarantee that any action will take place, but I

am hoping the Lancaster will be back from a major overhaul at St Athan. This will take us to approx 1500 to 1530hrs.

After this we will proceed to the West Retford Hotel in Retford. 40 double rooms have been provisionally booked in my

name. The cost per room will be £95 inc breakfast (this is the cost for 2 persons).

In the evening we will have a sit down dinner in the main function room. The cost for this is £30-£35 (this price is not

confirmed as yet-will be later)

I’m hoping to have the bagpipes pipe us in to the meal!!!

On the Friday morning we will be going to the East Kirby Air museum where there is a Lancaster which is able to have it’s

engines run and taxi. I am still in the negotiating stage for this facility.
